• The teacher will provide explicit direct instruction regarding content vocabulary necessary to understand mythology in general.

  • Students will then work independently or with a partner to develop a PowerPoint presentation of various additional words with their roots in Greek or Roman mythology.

  • Students will work in small groups of 3-4 students to develop a creative presentation of a myth, and will perform that myth to teach it to the rest of the class.

  • The teacher will provide support and guidance in research and interpretation.

  • Students will provide feedback on each other's presentations, and reflect on the group work experience.
